Welcome to Cook Family Farm! We are located in Almelund, MN and are third generation producers of American Lamb.
We specialize in Registered Hampshire and commercial show lamb prospects and butcher lambs. We do also offer a small selection of USDA inspected lamb cuts each fall. To get on our list, follow the link below, and we will be in contact soon!
Our Story:
The Official Cook Family Farm was established in 2017, when Adam and Amanda purchased their home in Almelund, MN. Amanda began raising sheep as a 4-Hmember on her grandparents' farm in Chisago City, MN and now is continuing the love for raising quality sheep with their three children: Henry, Emma, and Mirella.
The flock "started" in 2017 with a gift of three aged ewes (descendants of Amanda's former show ewes) and a ram from Amanda's Grandmother, Virginia Hughes. We have grown to 20 ewes selected by maternal ability and weaning weight. We currently sell lamb prospects and butcher lambs throughout the Greater Twin Cities Area.
Adam and Amanda are very active in the county Farm Bureau and 4-H program as volunteers, and the kids are becoming active in 4-H. Raising sheep is an unmatched experience that the Cook Family looks forward to enjoying and sharing for many years to come.
