Colin Shea is the founder & president of Conway Dreams, recently referred to as The Scene LLC, and Kloudi Kreative briefly in small circles. He started pursuing the business of music seriously after working with his grandpa one summer where he was taught the ropes of booking & the art of dealing with everything you have to deal with. During his last year at school he started a promotion page for his college town called '@thescene_tlh'. It quickly grew day after day to now reaching just under 3,500 followers after two years of growth. Colin handed the account off when he graduated the first year & is now run by someone else. After realizing the need for these 'scene pages', he reached out to talk to others who had similar ideas and had them named 'thescene_' as well. In his senior year, he began using this page to run events in his backyard, a warehouse, other backyards, and two venues in Tallahassee where he met Kanise around January during his show curating time. He also managed a friend turned business partner Noia.
After graduation, he moved in with his grandpa, Clyde Masters, to learn more about this industry and learn as much as he possibly could which is where the name Conway Dreams stems from. The goals and ambitions he ideated in Conway, where he was staying at the time. In his second Summer in Orlando, he started throwing more experimental raves and working within his second market while still working under his grandpa.
Around August that year, he moved back home to Fort Lauderdale, Florida closer to save for graduate school and work at a recording studio to be further mentored at The Hub 954 where he learned photoshoot production, the day-to-day of owning a studio & the intricacies of management & marketing. In the following summer, Colin started his time at Berklee in Valencia, Spain to study Global Entertainment & Music Business. At Berklee, he officially launched Conway Gardens. Though the future is unknown, he is hopeful, ready to work hard, and trying out new ideas during his studies.
