This Privacy Policy explains how Bass Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Convertify mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using Convertify, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
A. Files and content you process
• Files you select, import, convert, save, share, or export (such as documents, images, video, and other supported formats)
• Conversion settings you choose (for example, target format and quality preferences)
• Conversion history and related metadata stored on your device (such as file names, formats, timestamps, and status)
Your files are processed to provide the conversion features you request. We do not sell your files.
B. Device and usage information
• Device type, operating system, app version, language, and similar technical data
• App interactions and feature usage (for example, screens viewed, conversion events, subscription funnel events)
• Diagnostic information related to performance, crashes, and errors
• Advertising ID (where permitted by your device settings and applicable law)
C. Purchase and subscription information
• Subscription status, plan type, purchase events, restore events, and related transaction identifiers processed through the app store and our subscription provider
• We do not receive your full payment card details; payments are handled by Google Play (or the applicable store)
D. Settings and preferences
• App preferences stored on your device (such as quality settings, haptic feedback, reminders, onboarding/tour status, and similar options)
E. Permissions-related data
Depending on how you use Convertify, the App may request access to:
• Internet / network state (to enable online features, analytics, remote configuration, and certain conversions)
• Notifications (for optional gentle reminders)
• Files or shared content you choose to open with Convertify
• Vibration (for haptic feedback)
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Provide, operate, and improve Convertify’s conversion and related features
• Process conversions you request, including local processing and, where applicable, remote processing for certain formats
• Maintain conversion history and preferences on your device
• Manage subscriptions, purchases, restores, and premium access
• Analyze app usage and improve product performance and user experience
• Configure features through remote configuration
• Send optional reminders you enable
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or fraud
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
4. How Files Are Processed
Convertify is designed to help you convert files quickly.
• Many conversions are performed on your device
• Certain formats or features may require remote processing; in those cases, the file (or necessary parts of it) may be transmitted securely to processing infrastructure solely to complete your requested conversion
• Converted outputs may be saved locally, shared by you, or exported by you
We do not use the contents of your files for advertising.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
• Service providers that help us operate the App, such as analytics, remote configuration, subscription management, crash/diagnostics, and conversion-related infrastructure
• App stores and payment processors (for example, Google Play) to process purchases and subscriptions
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where permitted by law
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Third-Party Services
Convertify may use third-party services, which may collect or process information as described in their own policies. These may include:
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Remote Config, and related Google services)
• RevenueCat (subscription and purchase management)
• Google Play Billing
Your use of those services may also be governed by their privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
• Local settings, preferences, and conversion history generally remain on your device until you clear them in the App, delete related files, or uninstall Convertify
• Analytics and operational logs may be retained for a limited period as needed for product improvement, security, and legal compliance
• Purchase and subscription records may be retained as needed for billing, account status, fraud prevention, and legal requirements
If you uninstall the App, local data on your device is typically removed by the operating system, subject to device/backup behavior.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can also:
• Clear conversion history in the App settings (where available)
• Disable reminder notifications in App settings or system settings
• Limit advertising ID / ad personalization in your device settings
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play (or the applicable store)
• Uninstall the App at any time

9. Children’s Privacy
Convertify is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect information transferred internationally.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
