Conversationalists are a girl band hailing from Nipaluna, Lutruwita (Hobart, Tasmania). They formed in 2023, and have since created a wide variety of originals ranging anywhere between slow melodic pop to Radiohead-adjacent alt-rock. Their music often speaks on empowerment for women in the music industry.

Conversationalists are a classic four-piece rock band from Nipaluna, Lutruwita (Hobart, Tasmania). After forming in 2023 at their high school, they found their footing in alt-rock, with some indie pop on the side to keep listeners on their toes. Through shifting dynamics between vocalists, they present a wide range of sounds throughout their sets, often ending up with a harsher tone by the end, vocalising the consistent need for female empowerment in the local and worldwide music scene. As their work as a band continues, more intricate layering in their songs can be heard, especially with their soon-to-be-released song, 'Full Moon'.
