Convadio is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, Convadio, available on Google Play. By using the app, you agree to the terms of this policy.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password via Firebase Authentication.
Subscription Preferences: Information related to in-app purchases or subscriptions (e.g., Pro plan status) processed via RevenueCat.
User Identifiers: A unique Firebase user ID to manage your account and track usage limits.
Usage Data: Daily character limits for TTS (1000 characters) and DTS (500 characters) for non-Pro users, stored in Firebase Firestore.
Device Information: Permissions to modify audio settings (android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS) to manage audio output for generated files.
Generated audio files may contain the text or dialogue you input but do not include additional personal information unless provided by you. Downloaded files are stored locally on your device.
We use your information to:
Provide and improve Convadio’s TTS and DTS features, including generating and downloading audio files.
Authenticate users and manage accounts via Firebase Authentication.
Track usage limits (TTS and DTS) for non-Pro users via Firebase Firestore.
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions via RevenueCat to provide Pro features (unlimited TTS/DTS).
Ensure proper audio output using the MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS permission.
We do not share your personal information with third parties except:
Third-Party Services:
Firebase (Google): For authentication and data storage (user IDs, limits, subscription status).
RevenueCat: For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Google Play: For app distribution and billing.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
We use industry-standard security measures, including Firebase’s secure authentication and Firestore’s encrypted storage, and RevenueCat’s encrypted transactions to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Account data (email, Firebase user ID) is retained as long as your account is active.
Usage limits and subscription status are stored in Firestore until you delete your account.
Text/dialogue input is processed temporarily by our backend and not stored after audio generation.
You can request account deletion by contacting us at okworoanna@gmail.com, which will remove your data from Firebase and RevenueCat.
You may:
Access or update your account information via the app’s settings.
Delete your account by contacting us, which removes your data from Firebase and RevenueCat.
Convadio uses:
Firebase Authentication and Firestore for user management and data storage. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat for in-app purchases. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Our backend: Processes TTS/DTS requests; no user data is stored on the backend.
Convadio requires android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS to manage audio output for generated and downloaded audio files.
Convadio is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have such data, please contact us to have it removed.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The latest version is available at https://sites.google.com/view/convadio-privacy-policy/home.
