Did you know the SoundTouch 10 has native, hardware-level stereo pairing built-in? Controller Pro unlocks this feature, allowing you to bind two speakers together to act as dedicated Left and Right audio channels.
How to create a Stereo Pair:
Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner of the app.
Scroll down and tap the Native Stereo Pairing button.
Select your Left Channel (Master) speaker from the first dropdown. Note: The speaker you choose as the Left channel will become the "brain" for the pair.
Select your Right Channel speaker from the second dropdown and tap Create Pair.
Important Notes:
This feature is strictly for SoundTouch 10 speakers. The app will automatically hide this button if it does not detect compatible hardware on your network.
Once you tap "Create," the speakers will physically reboot their network chips. Please wait 10 to 15 seconds for the speakers to bind before trying to play music.
Grouping speakers is one of the best parts of a multi-room audio system. Controller Pro's Mixer gives you absolute control over how those rooms balance with each other.
How to group speakers: Tap the MIXER button (or the Volume label) on the main screen to open the Party Dashboard. Check the box next to any speaker to instantly add it to the current group.
Sync Sliders to Master: At the top of the Mixer, you will see a toggle called "Sync Sliders to Master."
When turned ON: Tapping the volume controls on the main screen will mathematically adjust the volume of every speaker in the group simultaneously, keeping your perfect room-to-room balance locked in.
When turned OFF: You can adjust the volume of each room completely independently without affecting the others.
If your music is dropping out, stuttering, or speakers are randomly disconnecting from groups, it is almost always a Wi-Fi issue, not an app bug. Controller Pro includes a built-in diagnostic tool to help you find dead zones in your house.
How to check your speaker's health:
Connect to the troublesome speaker in the app.
Open Settings and tap System Diagnostics.
The app will open a terminal and pull live telemetry data directly from the speaker's motherboard.
What to look for: Check the SIGNAL_HEALTH line. If it reads EXCELLENT or GOOD, your network is solid. If it reads AVERAGE (orange) or POOR (red), the speaker is struggling to hear your router. You will need to move the speaker closer to your Wi-Fi router or invest in a Wi-Fi extender to stop the music from dropping out.
Controller Pro is designed to adapt to your specific hardware and personal preferences. By tapping the Settings gear icon, you can customize how the app looks, sounds, and interacts with your speakers.
App Preferences:
App Language: By default, the app matches your phone's native language. However, you can use the language dropdown at the top of the Settings menu to instantly force the app into any of our 10 supported languages (including Spanish, German, Japanese, and Arabic).
Connection Beep: When Controller Pro successfully connects to a speaker, it triggers a physical "beep" from the hardware to confirm the connection. If you prefer silent connections (e.g., for late-night listening), simply switch the Connection Beep toggle to OFF.
Dynamic Hardware Settings: The app is hardware-aware, meaning the rest of the Settings menu will physically change its layout depending on which specific speaker you are currently controlling:
Bass Level: Available on almost all models, allowing you to slide the heavy low-end frequencies up or down with a live number readout.
L/R Balance: This slider will only appear if you are currently connected to an active Stereo Pair, allowing you to shift the audio focus slightly left or right.
OLED Clock Display: This toggle will only appear if you are connected to a larger speaker with a digital screen (like the SoundTouch 20 or 30), allowing you to turn the standby clock on or off.
