LSEAIN-CCWG

London and South East Academic Integrity Network Contract Cheating Working Group

About the LSEAIN-CCWG

The CCWG was established in May 21021 as an inter-university working group initially to design a checklist to help university assignment markers detect potential cases of contract cheating. The work of the group has now extended to the production of additional checklists for the wider academic community. We are currently recruiting members for production of checklists related to proofreading, case management and institutional academic integrity strategy development.

Our Contract Checklist

This checklist was developed using the following methodology: following a scoping review of existing 'contract cheating checklists' six distinct checklists were selected for reflective analysis by the working group. Six categories of 'red flag' were synthesized from the personal and institutional experience of academic integrity specialists representing six English higher education institutions.

Workshops and Events

Members of the working group have conducted workshops demonstrating the checklist with institutions in England, Scotland and Dubai.

Workshops are available in 1 hour, 2 hour and half-day formats. When requesting a workshop for your institution please indicate on which areas of the checklist you wish to focus.
