The workshop will take place at the School of Mathematics, University of Birmingham. All talks will take place in Lecture Theatre C on the ground floor.
The University of Birmingham is a global university with a world-class reputation for both fundamental and translational research. Founded in 1900 as England’s first civic university, this was and continues to be a welcoming place for staff and students from all backgrounds.
The Edgbaston campus is home to a diverse, vibrant community. With historic buildings, modern facilities and green surroundings, the campus is purpose-built to be sustainable and inspiring.
The School of Mathematics contributes fundamental advances in many areas including graph theory, harmonic analysis and mathematical physics. It also changes lives by helping to tackle human trafficking, improving the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, and reducing ocean noise pollution. With its strong tradition in continuum mechanics and mathematical biology, the School is prepared to establish itself as a hub for mathematics-led interdisciplinary research.
