Sierpe es la puerta de entrada a la Península de Osa, a la que National Geographic ha considerado como el lugar con mayor biodiversidad en todo el planeta. No hace falta decir que la naturaleza y la vida silvestre simplemente abundan aquí.

Nos sentamos en medio de los humedales y sistemas de manglares más grandes de toda Costa Rica, que alberga una gran variedad de flora y fauna. En la parte superior de los enormes sistemas fluviales que presumimos, estamos ubicados a un corto viaje en bote desde el Parque Nacional Corcovado y la Reserva Biológica de la Isla del Caño, donde puede continuar explorando la incomparable magnificencia de Osa.
Sierpe is the gateway into the Osa Peninsula, which has famously been referred to by National Geographic as the most biodiverse place on the entire planet. Needless to say, nature and wildlife simply abound here.

Recorridos en bote de 6 -11am para conteo de aves! Regresar a Sierpe para hora del almuerzo y después para la tarde habrá otros recorridos en bote para los participantes con la siguiente programación:

Caminata avistamiento de aves 5-10am.
Para aquellos que no participan en el tour de conteo de aves sábado, no queremos que se pierda la oportunidad de ver las hermosas aves y la vida silvestre de Sierpe. Por lo tanto, el sábado tendremos los excursiones famosos de Sierpe de 2 horas en bote para observación de aves y vida silvestre. Por favor contactarnos con anticipación.

Aquí están las indicaciones para llegar a Sierpe desde la principal carretera costera Rt 34.
Continúe hacia el sur desde Manuel Antonio, Dominical o Uvita hasta Palmar Norte a lo largo de la Ruta 34.
Llegará a Palmar y lo sabrá porque la carretera en la que se encuentra se une con otra carretera de 2 carriles a la intersección T e Y ... (hay una gasolinera grande a la izquierda en la intersección, y una gran tienda de comestibles BM en Verá el pequeño pueblo de Palmar North a su izquierda y el gran puente de metal. Pase por este gran puente ...
Gire inmediatamente a la derecha tan pronto como las ruedas de su automóvil salgan del puente. Hay un ENORME señal para Sierpe allí ...
Permanezca en el camino pavimentado durante 17 km (20 minutos desde Palmar - hay varios giros de 90 grados en la carretera. Simplemente quédate en el pavimento sin importar lo que diga tu GPS).
El camino, literalmente, termina en Sierpe. Conducirá a lo largo de un tramo largo y recto con muchas casas y en algún momento habrá una acera en el lado derecho de la carretera ... casi estará en el centro de Sierpe ... continúe recto, siga una curva suave, el río estar a la izquierda .... llega hasta el parque central de sierpe u busca rótulos para Kokopelli al lado del río cruce del parque.

Continue south from Manuel Antonio, Dominical or Uvita to Palmar Norte along Rt 34
You will arrive in Palmar and will know it because the road you are on merges into another 2 lane road to T and Y intersection ... (there is a big gas station on the left at the intersection, and a big BM grocery store on You will see the little town of Palmar North on your left and big metal bridge. Go over this big bridge ...
Take an immediate right as soon as the wheels of your car leave the bridge. There is a HUGE sign for Sierpe there ...
Stay on the paved road for 17kms - there are several 90 degrees turns in the road. Just stay on pavement no matter what your GPS says.
The road literally dead ends in Sierpe. You will drive along a long straight stretch with many houses and at some point there will be a sidewalk on the right side of the road .. you will almost be in central Sierpe ... continue straight, around a gentle curve, the river will be on the left .... continue straight until you reach the central park in Sierpe and look for signs for Kokopelli along the river side across from the park.
