A content samurai login is required if you want to use this amazing online video creation software. So it's worth taking up the free trial offer. So you can put the software through it's paces.
Once you login you will arrive at your dashboard: The main control area of the software.
This contains all of the videos you’ve ever made, has a link to the Help section of the app, and lets you click on each video to edit it, clone it, or delete it. It’s pretty self explanatory. The edit button gets you to the video-editing screen, the clone button copies the video and creates another one exactly like it, and the delete tton deletes the video. The User Interface looks very nice, but I think the performance is more important so let’s get down to it.
The video creation process is very easy, simple, and quick. You just go from top to bottom using the left sidebar. You start by naming your video and creating the script. Then you get to edit your slides. You can bold certain words, underline words, italicize words and hide the text. You can also select from many different themes. You can create, edit, and save your own themes if you want to keep the branding consistent across all of your videos.
You also have the ability to add images to each slide, edit the layout with to have the image on the right, the left, behind the text, or have the text at the bottom or top of the screen. You can also insert your own video in between slides and at the beginning of the video, so if you have an introductory video you’d like to use, you can do that straight in the program. You can also merge the text on two slides into one slide, or split the text on one slide into two slides. Very simple, easy and fast.
Recording the audio is a very simple process. You click on the record button, it counts down, you record a sentence, and then you press next. You record sentence by sentence and Content Samurai stitches the audio together when you’re done. I love that you can record it sentence by sentence as this means that if you mess up, you only have to fix one small part of your audio and not start over from the very beginning. You can also upload a previously created recording instead of recording it step by step in Content Samurai. This gives you the option of recording and editing it in say Audacity to get rid of background noise and then uploading it to Content Samurai to let it sync it for you.
Here you get to check if the video looks and sounds the way you want it to, and whether Content Samurai placed the slides in the right spot.
If the slides aren’t in the right spot you can move them around and pick when you want the slides to switch. It’s very simple to do so and it requires you to listen through the video once while pressing a button every time you’d like a slide to switch. If you don’t like that you can also simply drag around the slide start times. You can also add music here. If the text and the audio don’t fit together well you can easily change the timing of the slides by using the record timing option. It’s very intuitive and very easy to use.
After that you can click on Generate Your Video, but another cool feature on this page is that if you use any images that require attribution, you can just copy the text that Content Samurai gives you and they take care of it for you. You don’t have to copy and paste the source of each image. Just the short message in white. After you click on Generate your Video it starts generating it.
Another great thing about this is that everything is done in the cloud. You don’t need to waste storage on your computer or be worried that a hard drive crash will destroy your videos because it’s all stored online. This also means that you don’t need to carry around your powerful video-rendering laptop and you can just use any computer with internet access.
Using Content Samurai login will enable you to use a great piece of online video creation software.
