On behalf of Wilfrid Laurier University and San Jose State University, we request your participation in this survey exploring the impacts of theft or misuse of sex-related videos and images experienced by creators. We aim to advocate for better intellectual property protections on behalf of erotic and sexual content producers.

We want to learn about:

• How you and your work have been affected by piracy of your content

• What people do when they find out that their content has been stolen

• Who and what type of content is most likely to experience piracy

• How different service providers respond to your concerns

• What can be done to help other creators protect their content

The anonymous survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey you will be provided a separate link, where you can input your email address to enter five random draws for $50 USD (to be drawn in early 2022). You can also opt-in to be contacted for a digital interview in 2022 about online sexual content production. Interviewees will be paid $50 USD. Participation or completion of the survey is not required to be entered into the raffle and will have no bearing on your chances of winning.
