On behalf of Wilfrid Laurier University and San Jose State University, we request your participation in this survey exploring the impacts of theft or misuse of sex-related videos and images experienced by creators. We aim to advocate for better intellectual property protections on behalf of erotic and sexual content producers.
We want to learn about:
How you and your work have been affected by piracy of your content
What people do when they find out that their content has been stolen
Who and what type of content is most likely to experience piracy
How different service providers respond to your concerns
What can be done to help other creators protect their content
The anonymous survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey you will be provided a separate link, where you can input your email address to enter five random draws for $50 USD (to be drawn in early 2022). You can also opt-in to be contacted for a digital interview in 2022 about online sexual content production. Interviewees will be paid $50 USD. Participation or completion of the survey is not required to be entered into the raffle and will have no bearing on your chances of winning.
