Set up Frontier Email for Outlook Email Program

Any email service can be set up with the installed Outlook program. Only you need to have the Frontier email settings for Outlook–both incoming and outgoing server details. However, if you have no idea how you can setup Frontier email on an Outlook account, the following guidelines will help you out.

General Setup Guidelines for Frontier Email on Outlook

Step 1: Launch Outlook, and click File, then click Info.

Step 2: Click Add Account.

Step 3: Click the circle next to the manually configure server settings, and then select “Next.”

Step 4: Click the circle next to Internet Email, and then click “Next.”

Step 5: Perform the following steps:

· In the User Information section, enter your name and your Frontier email address in the Email Address field.

· Select the Account Type as POP3, enter pop3.frontier.com for the Incoming Mail Server (POP3), and smtp.frontier.com for the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) under the Server Information section.

· Enter your full email address in the Username field and your password under the Logon Information section.

· Click More Settings.

Step 6: Enter a name for the Mail Account, such as your Frontier email address, pop3.frontier.com or Frontier.

Step 7: Click the Outgoing Server tab, select My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication, and Use the same settings as my incoming mail server.

Step 8: Click the Advanced tab. Under it:

· Enter 995 for the Incoming mail server. Check the box next to This server requires (SSL) encryption.

· For the Outgoing mail server, enter 465.

· Click OK.

Step 9: Make sure there is a check mark next to Test Account Settings by clicking the Next button.

Step 10: Click “Next” and Finish to complete the process.
