GTM strategy for Indoor Air Quality Monitors
The Consulting Club at IIM Indore successfully executed a live project, tasked with formulating a comprehensive Go-to-market (GTM) strategy for indoor air quality (IAQ) monitors. The project encompassed the identification of approximately nine viable user segments, facilitating targeted market penetration. As a part of the project, an alternative business model was strategically devised—shifting towards a product-as-a-service approach. This innovative model showcased the potential to achieve a substantial cost reduction of approximately 41%. Finally, the recommendations involved various differentiators and meticulously designed channel strategies involving eight intermediaries. This endeavor also involved extensive competitive benchmarking, evaluating strategies employed by over ten firms in the same domain.
The project involved collaborating with over three departments within MSME. The primary objective of this project was to explore promising business opportunities within the sustainable sports and outdoor apparel sectors. To achieve this, comprehensive market research was conducted, meticulously crafting an end-to-end strategy focused on enhancing sales revenue for more than five international sports brands. As part of the project, a robust marketing and sales strategy was developed with a specific focus on the creation of a circular economy. This circular economy approach, often referred to as "cradle to cradle," was designed to promote sustainability through the use of eco-friendly textiles.
