Ben Barber Construction Technology Playhouse Description:
This 6x6 playhouse has the look of "a little cabin in the woods" but with the safety features of open doors and windows for visibility from the kitchen sink. There is a front porch constructed from all treated wood materials, as the rest of the floor and structure below the floor.
The exterior has 25 year composition shingles with metal drip edge for a classic look and a durable, lasting assembly. LP Smartside™ paneling and Armour Wood primed trim create an acceptable facade for any architectural review committee. These products are pre-primed, but will need a finish coat of paint to suit your dreams and style.
The interior of the playhouse was lined with 1/4" paneling to deter our insect friends from finding protected crannies to build their homes. This paneling increases the interior safety of the playhouse as well. We hope you enjoy this playhouse for years to come! The materials were reused from our training labs in our Construction technology program, so we have accomplished a green building concept as well!
Perfect for the backyard, lakehouse lot, family farm or donate to a community park!
