I am a researcher in the Department of Logic and Metaphysics of the Institute of Philosophy and Psychology (Romanian Academy). I also teach courses on logical and philosophical topics across several faculties of the University of Bucharest (for more information:  CV).

From March 1st to August 31st, 2025, I was a research fellow at the Institute Vienna Circle, Faculty of Philosophy and Education,  University of Vienna. https://wienerkreis.univie.ac.at/fellowships/present-ivc-fellows/constantin-c-brincus/

In the period 2015-2024, I served for three cycles as coordinator of The European PhD-Net in Philosophy - A joint doctoral program of six European universities (University of Bergen, Bielefeld University, University of Bologna, University of Bucharest, University of Helsinki, and Uppsala University). I have also held research visits at the  Department of History and Philosophy of Science (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, July 7-11, 2025), the Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker Center (University of Tübingen, August 1–13, 2022), the Institute Vienna Circle (University of Vienna, September 17–October 2, 2021), and the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences (University of Salzburg, December 4–8, 2017), the Network for Literary and Cultural Studies (University of Helsinki, October 28-30, 2015).

I use logical and conceptual analysis to clarify our concepts and ideas, helping us think clearly and precisely about different domains of knowledge and life. My approach to philosophy is problem-solving oriented.
