Chartered Manager (C Mgr) is unique. It is the hallmark and ultimate recognition for management achievements. The designation sets well qualified executives apart from other managers by providing them an independent endorsement of personal ability to manage and lead, as well as the certification of managerial competence, individual functional ability and transferable skills.
C Mgr is earned through a vigorous training programme in management and leadership and independently assessed for work-based achievements. Holders of CMI awards obtained through Consort are entitled to seek endorsements as Chartered Managers in a simple process.
Management Qualification
The post-graduate level diploma in Strategic Management offered through Consort is a route for middle and senior executives to become Chartered Managers. It covers several main areas of management: Management and Leadership, Managing Resources, Strategies, Planning, Projects and Decision Making, with the aims of cultivating strategic management thinking and skills of the learners. Upon completing the course, learners are awarded a CMI post-graduate Diploma, and entitled to seek additional endorsement as Chartered Managers.
