The 29th edition of the Conference of the Student Organisation of Linguistics in Europe (ConSOLE) will be hosted by Leiden University (Netherlands) and held online on 26-28 January 2021.

ConSOLE aims to provide graduate (MA, PhD) and advanced undergraduate (BA) students with the opportunity to present their research in linguistics to an international audience.

We invite papers from all linguistic subfields (e.g. language acquisition, morphology, phonetics/phonology, semantics/pragmatics, sociolinguistics, syntax) and methodologies (e.g. computational, experimental, fieldwork, theoretical).

Information on poster presentations:

(Subject to change in accordance with online conference format) Poster sessions will last for approximately 1 hour, and there will likely be 2 poster sessions. During the session, the presenter will stay by their poster and the audience rotate between the different posters to ask questions. You do not need to make the poster until after your abstract has been accepted, but if you would like more information, you can find more detailled tips on poster presentations at e.g. https://www.linguisticsociety.org/resource/lsa-poster-guidelines, and see pictures of poster sessions at a previous ConSOLE (2015) here.

Accepted authors will have the opportunity to submit to the proceedings of ConSOLE, which is internally peer-reviewed. Further information about the proceedings will be provided by the SOLE board at the end of the conference.

For updates on the conference follow us on Facebook and check this website; for further queries on submissions or the conference in general contact the local organising committee via email.
