Cambridge is a well-connected city, easily accessible by public transport.
BY PLANE
London Stansted Airport – The nearest international airport, approximately 30 miles (50 km) from Cambridge. Regular direct trains and buses are available to Cambridge (around 30–40 minutes).
London Heathrow Airport – Around 70 miles (110 km) from Cambridge. Take the Heathrow Express or London Underground into London, then transfer to a direct train to Cambridge from King's Cross St. Pancras or London Liverpool Street (around 2 hours total).
London Gatwick Airport – About 90 miles (145 km) from Cambridge. Direct trains to Cambridge take around 2 hours.
There are direct National Express buses from Gatwick and Heathrow to Cambridge.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Frequent direct train services from London King's Cross St. Pancras (50 mins) and Liverpool Street (1 hr 10 mins). Direct trains run from cities such as Norwich, Leicester and Birmingham. National Express and Megabus operate routes to Cambridge from major UK cities.
Eddington is on the Universal Bus U1 and U2 routes. Stagecoach buses also run to Madingley Road Park and Ride which is only a 5-10 minute walk away by footpath.
BY BIKE
Cambridge is a very bike-friendly city. Eddington is a 15 minute cycle from the centre of Cambridge and has plenty of bike parking. Journeys can be planned with CycleStreets. There are several bike hire companies located in Cambridge as well as Voi e-bike and scooter hire.
BY CAR
We encourage visitors to avoid travelling by car to Storey’s Field Centre where possible. Anyone driving to the Centre may park at Madingley Road Park and Ride, which is free (for up to 18 hours) and is only a 5-10 minute walk away by footpath.

The conference catering will be provided by Cambridge Sustainable Food, a non-profit organisation working to build a fairer, more sustainable food system which supports the community and the environment. To reduce the overall carbon emissions of the conference, all food at the conference will be vegetarian.
