Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the registration date). All prices are in US dollars (USD) and include 10% Mainland China Tax.

Student registration is available for those who hold a current student identification card or a written statement from their supervisor verifying the student status during the registration process that must be sent to the conference organizing committee for approval before registration at:  royascottstudioshanghai@gmail.com

Independent artist registration is available to independent artists who are not affiliated with or employed by public or private academic institutions, research organizations, or artistic organizations.

Affiliated authors: full registration is available for authors and artists who are affiliated with or employed by public or private academic institutions, research organizations, or artistic organizations.

Onsite and Online Registration include: 

Full onsite registrations:

Full onsite registration includes access to all conference sessions at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts campus and the DeTAO Masters Academy Building in Shanghai and access to all exhibitions and performances opening receptions as part of the creative program. 

All coffee breaks (morning and afternoon) on the three days of the conference at the SIVA Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts are included. 

Access to all events/social functions included in the Consciousness Reframed 2024 program.

Full onsite registration includes access to workshops as part of the Consciousness Reframed 2024 program, but additional onsite registration is required following the workshop proposal constraints. 

*Accommodation and travel expenses are not covered by the registration fees.

Virtual registrations:

Virtual registrations include access to all conference online sessions (including online Satelite Events) and to parts of the onsite Consciousness Reframed 2024 program at the DeTAO Masters Academy Building in Songjiang, Shanghai that will be available online. Further details on what parts of the program will be available in a hybrid capacity will be confirmed in the coming months.

Registration cancellations received by 4 pm (Shanghai UTC+8 hours) on May 31, 2024, will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of USD 20%. Anyone who registers for onsite attendance but then, at a later date, is unable to travel to Shanghai will be transferred over to an online conference registration type without any refund.
