What is Project: Fine Print?
Project Fine Print is a personal project of mine that I've been working on since the summer of 2022, I've jumped back and forth on the project sometimes procrastinating. The project is going to be my biggest one yet, it's animatic stage is over 50% completed with much more on the way. The project is a music video of the song "The Fine Print" by The Stupendium, it will be a 4 minute and 35 second animatic with smooth animation in the future next year, there will be many references within the animatic of different games, movies, shows, etc... throughout my life that I have loved.
The Story of the Fine Print is about a story of people who have journeyed to space out of desperation to find a better life, only to be met with crushing work hours and a lack of autonomy. You now work for capitalism and how workers are expected to put in long hours and low pay in order to make a living. After being on the planet for a mere few days, you now see a bleak picture of a world where people are taken advantage of and forced to comply with the demands of the governing body in order to survive. In the chorus, the artist sings of how one must “work to earn the right to work”, depicting the endless cycle of finding and filling jobs in order to make ends meet.
Unfortunately the animatic isn't properly finished, some scenes have been cleaned up, while others haven't been yet. The project is nearly 68% finished in it's rough animatic form, I'm planing to change most of the characters and give them proper designs except for the main character, which is basically if you were in his position.

The Characters
The Manager:
The Manager is the one, that introduces you to this new world, verifying your responsibilities on this new world. He makes sure that there's no disturbance throughout the lower levels in the economy. Giving all of the orders from the Head Monitor to everyone else, and if wrong happens, he'll hear about it.
The Assistant:
The Assistants are small, but large in numbers. They're the ones ensuring the progress of the roles assigned to the slaves- I mean... Employees is still increasing, and completing their assingments.
Head Monitor:
The Head Monitor Runs the entire company, passes down orders that the Employees don't know why but still fulfill, and makes the decisions even for the darkest reasons...
The Advertiser:
The Advertiser encourages the Employees to keep completing their assignments, tasks, and roles. He created the ad on earth, encouraging citizens to come and work for them, but not everything is as it seems...
