Conny Feyen

I am Conny Feyen and completed the Multimedia Operator and web design training at Go'Cvo from September 2019 to the end of March 2020. A vibrant new world has opened up for me!

I learned the basics of coding, including HTML and CSS. I then coded my first website and received great grades! Later, I built a webshop in WordPress and created a nice website using ProcessWire. 

Throughout my Multimedia Operator training, I gained proficiency in photography and became well-acquainted with the Adobe suite, which includes Photoshop, Lightroom, Animate, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, but discovering coding brought me back to my childhood. I used to play the accordion and organ as an advanced musician and could read musical notes. I realised that musical notes are also a form of code, which is why I fell in love with coding!

I have a deep passion for design, film, photography, and web design, with a focus on user-friendliness.

I seized the chance to volunteer at VZW Zewopa, where I had the privilege of launching the new ‘Warm Wijkkrant’. During this time, I learned to utilise the Genscom program to design the newspaper, while also applying my extensive skills in Photoshop and Lightroom. Later, after forming a team, we ventured into the Kiel district. While I focused on capturing photographs, my colleagues handled the interviews. Together, we gained significant experience in copywriting. Additionally, I was fortunate to complete an internship here from early June to late August 2021.

I also embraced an internship at Studio Digitaal as a Junior Digital Marketer from September to December 2021, where I discovered the power of tools like Magento and Shopify to shape impactful digital experiences.

Following my training and internships, I successfully transitioned into a role as a temporary communication and marketing coordinator at LBC Volwassenenonderwijs in 2022, where I was able to apply my skills and contribute to the organisation’s initiatives.

My Recent Experiences: 

• Designing posters, flyers, and business cards customised for different regions

• Utilising Microsoft Office, photography, InDesign, and Illustrator

• Developing layout guidelines and templates in Word

• Designing internal Infusion newsletters

• Connecting all LBC CVO regions

• Collaborating with the Campaign team to coordinate a new campaign image

• Offering multiple formats and ensuring precise printing

By the end of 2024, I also participated in vdab-workshops for Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Camera RAW to keep up with the latest developments. 

From early June through November 11, 2025, I was involved in the setup of the 'Hier begint bakplezier' pop-up store. I was responsible for daily opening and closing procedures, cash management, and end-of-day reporting, while also providing expert product advice to customers.
