Welcome to my website! My name is Connor Mattes, and I am currently the Computer Science Research Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, California. I earned my Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Denver in 2023, following my undergraduate degree from the Colorado School of Mines in 2018.
My research focuses on the application of discrete mathematics, optimization techniques, and mathematical programming to solve complex, real-world problems. I am particularly interested in the development and implementation of advanced computational methods to improve decision-making processes and drive impactful solutions.
My resume can be found here.
