I'm a game and sound designer with a BA in Art & Design: Games and Playable Media. Interactive storytelling has always fascinated me, and my favorite way to engage in it is through digital audio and sound design. Music has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I love its ability to convey emotions or feelings to a listener and how its able to drive a narrative through purely sound. This passion is reflected in my works, examples being Brain Rhapsody, a game with an ever-changing soundtrack and flexible audio based on one of four forms the player is controlling, and Anomaly, an auditory analog horror experience where the player must use exclusively sound to make the correct decision. I'm particularly proud of Dewdrop Cafe, a decision-based visual novel containing an original soundtrack composed, mixed, and mastered entirely by myself.
In addition to music composition, I am also an experienced foley artist. The aforementioned Dewdrop Cafe contains a complete library of sound effects recorded and edited by myself. My work is also featured in the game Tacocat, where I recorded "voice lines" for each of the animal customers, such as the fish, who I "voiced" by blowing bubbles with a straw into a milkshake. I have experience with a wide array of recording equipment such as dynamic mics, condenser mics, field recorders, binaural mics, and ambisonic mics, and I love interacting with the world and finding new ways to produce the sounds and timbres that I need for a given project.
Outside of my work, I'm an avid nerd with a myriad of hobbies. This is showcased in my joy for tabletop roleplaying games, my compulsive songwriting, and my hobby of live-looping and production with the Boss RC-505 MK2 Loopstation. Many of my musical side projects can be found on my Youtube channel. I'm always searching for a new outlet for my creativity, and whether it be through game development, music, or writing, I'm always looking for another opportunity to create something new.
