Men’s Shelter

The recently renovated Men’s Shelter is dormitory style with beds for sixteen (16) men, shared kitchen, bathroom, living room, and laundry facilities. In addition, there are two (2) small apartments in the building. One of these is for the Residential Staff. The other is for the use of a shelter resident needing long-term housing. A small office is also located at the men’s facility where resources for mission clients are coordinated. Shelter clients may stay at the facility for 30-60 days during which time they work with shelter staff to find employment and/or permanent housing.

Promise House

Provides a safe and secure independent living setting for youth between the ages of 16-21. Promise House is a 6-month program that will accept youth participants by way of a comprehensive application screening process. A complete life skills curriculum developed that will equip participants to live independently. Group and individual counseling are available on-site. Serves youth through CYS, JPO and Mental Health who meet the program guidelines.

Women’s Shelter

City Mission Women’s Shelter is a remodeled house and is used for emergency shelter for women, and women with small children from non-abusive situations. There are twelve (12) beds that can accommodate eight (8) women depending upon the number of children. (Four of the beds are pull-out, trundle style beds allowing a mother and her child to sleep close to each other.) There are also communal kitchen and laundry facilities as well as an on-site apartment for the resident manager and an office where services are coordinated for residents. In addition to shelter and food, we provide an array of on-site services including case management, resident management, and transportation.

Hope House

HOPE House is a licensed facility that provides short-term (up to 30 days) emergency shelter to male and female youth ages 11-17 from Fayette and surrounding counties.

The facility accommodates a maximum of 15 youth.

HOPE House is dedicated to helping each youth develop the skills & judgment allowing them to be successful and make a positive contribution to society.
