Depending on if you are a new or current mentor or coordinator, you will receive customized training. Most of the training will be online and asynchronous, so you can complete it on your own time. There will be some potential online synchronous training components depending on which group your school is in. This training will include an orientation to the project as well as Check & Connect® Mentor training or refreshers and training on the Self-Determination Learning Model of Instruction. Coordinators will also receive coordinator-specific training.
