Westbank Community Café is looking for friendly, welcoming volunteers to help run the café. As a volunteer, you'll be making coffees (with training provided), serving food and drinks, chatting with customers, and helping with cleaning. Westbank are looking for caring, dependable volunteers to join our team as Community Hub Drivers, helping local residents access vital services at Westbank’s Healthy Living Centre in Exminster. In this role, you’ll be driving our wheelchair-accessible vehicle to transport individuals between Starcross, Exminster village, and the Community Hub, where they can access support such as our food larder and warm space, Warmwell. Westbank also seeks Community Transport Drivers
You could be helping patients who don’t qualify for hospital transport services and have no one else to take them home (covering the footprint of the RDUH), also supporting local residents of Exminster and Starcross in getting to their medical appointments, or providing rides to and from social groups and activities organised by Westbank. You might also deliver accessibility equipment, move furniture for hospital beds, or do a food shop for someone returning from the hospital.
