This is essential for monitoring your connection speed and type (Wi-Fi, cellular). We require `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`, `ACCESS_WIFI_STATE`, and `INTERNET` permissions for this.
* **Location Information:** We collect your device's precise location (`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`) to analyze network characteristics specific to a location. To provide continuous monitoring even when the app is not in the foreground, we also require background location access (`ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION`). This location data is used to identify the connected Wi-Fi network and is integral to the app's monitoring features.
* **Mobile Network Information:** We require the `READ_PHONE_STATE` permission to get information about your cellular network, which helps in providing a complete picture of your device's connectivity.
* **Foreground Service & Notifications:** The app uses a Foreground Service (`FOREGROUND_SERVICE`) to run the network monitoring service continuously and display the current network speed in your notification bar. We use the `POST_NOTIFICATIONS` permission to show these status updates.
## 2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
* Provide the core features of the App, such as displaying current network status and speed.
* Run a persistent service to monitor connectivity in the background.
* Display notifications related to your network status.
* Improve the App's performance and accuracy.
All data processing is done locally on your device. **We do not store your personal information, nor do we share it with any third parties.**
