Connection to Freedom Jail & Street Outreach Society was founded in 1987 in a jail cell at  Vancouver Island Regional Correctional Centre  in Victoria, BC, with a mission to help those recovering from addiction. Over the years, Connection to Freedom has supported countless individuals struggling with addiction on Vancouver Island.

In 2017, the Society’s original founder, Steve Bradley, passed the leadership to Aneil Perwal, who expanded the ministry to the beautiful Cowichan Valley in 2020.

Today, Connection to Freedom offers a  Hair & Prayer Ministry,  Fellowship & Discussion Group, Praise & Prayer Night, Street Outreach, and a Sunday Service followed by food & fellowship, and an abundance of love.  Every day, our team reaches out to those on the streets of Duncan, offering hope and support.

At the heart of Connection to Freedom is a passion for seeing lives transformed, breaking free from self-destructive behaviors through the hope found in Jesus Christ.
