Connecting Through Culture was founded in Thomasville in June 2026 by Rosa Villacorta after she saw limited Hispanic representation and too few intentional arts, cultural, and multilingual opportunities for local families. CTC began with a simple belief: every child and family should feel seen, welcomed, and able to participate.
Our mission is to foster community pride and confidence by strengthening relationships between Hispanic and non-Hispanic residents through affordable bilingual arts, educational, and cultural programs that build belonging, understanding, and participation.
We envision a community where language, culture, or financial circumstances never prevent a child or family from participating, learning, or feeling that they belong.
Language Access
We use bilingual communication, interpreters, and multilingual volunteers to help families participate with confidence.
Our volunteers collectively speak approximately six languages.
