Why we are here

Connecting Kids was founded in 2013 by a mom on a mission inspired by her beautifully "different' daughter Logan. Her vision is simple: a world where all abilities are celebrated, understood and included.

Seems like a bold vision in the world we live in, right? So we start right in our local community with the children who see each other every day.

We are a 501c 3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization serving the Northwest Florida community since 2013 by providing unique experiences and resources that connect all children, such as our annual Costumes for Kids project, adaptive play items, inclusive playground equipment, and disability awareness for schools.

Explore each of these in more detail below and contact us if you'd like to be a part of our organization!

Costumes for Kids

We partner with local school art programs to create wheelchair costumes at Halloween. Signups open in August

Adaptive Equipment

We purchase and donate adaptive play equipment to schools, local parks, and families

Disability Awareness

We provide disability awareness to local schools and child-serving organizations
