Since the Corona Virus was declared a global Pandemic by the World Health Organisation and the UK government declared this country would be significantly affected, Connecting Hands have launched a programme across the South London area to connect volunteers to support individuals and organisations where possible.
At a time when there could be significant impact on individuals, on our society and on the economy, it is the right thing to help and care for those in weaker or unhealthy position, especially as the virus will have a collective impact on us. Connecting Hands is encouraging a collaborative approach, which will create a healthier and stronger society.
For those in South London areas of SW16 and CR7 and severely impacted by the Corona virus, contact the numbers advertised if you need a pack.
Contact Connecting Hands if you can donate items, money of volunteer with us.
We've closed our local WhatsApp group and are now providing support through a broader mutual aid initiative.
