Group: Optoelectronics and Photonics Group

Students will be trained on the latest technological advances pertaining to drug delivery platforms for locoregional release of targeted drugs. Particular attention will be devoted to the identification of perspectives and challenges that lie ahead these novel platforms and their exploitation in clinically relevant scenarios .

Target applications include cancer theranostics and neuroscience.

Experts in nanotechnology, photonics, biotechnology and medicine will be involved in the project. Particular emphasis will be dedicated to the multidisciplinary aspects pertaining to the project.
