Tickets

Our ticket system is based on simple travel tiers that reflect how far and how often people typically travel. Each place we serve is grouped into a tier based on the style of bus travel in that area, from busy city routes to longer regional journeys and rural or island services. Tier 1 covers our main urban network where buses run frequently and journeys are shorter. Tier 2 covers larger towns where most travel is for commuting into or around nearby cities. Tier 3 includes wider regional areas, islands, and coastal extensions where journeys are longer and more planned. Tier 4 covers our most rural areas where services are less frequent and travel is more essential. This structure helps keep fares fair and consistent, so customers always pay based on the type of journey they’re making across the Connecta network.

Single Fares

Unlimited travel on the Connecta network between 1 September and 31 December.
🟩 Spring Term — £175.00
Unlimited travel on the Connecta network between 1 January and 18 April.
🟨 Summer Term — £160.00
Unlimited travel on the Connecta network between 19 April and 31 July. Students can choose to continue the ticket throughout the month of August for a fee of £65, making the ticket price £225.
🟪 Annual Ticket — £520.00
Unlimited travel on the Connecta network between 1 September and 31 August.
