Work: I am an astrophysicist currently doing my first postdoc at The Niels Bohr Institute in Denmark after completing my PhD at The University of Oxford, UK.
My research focuses on the dynamics of black hole interactions and mergers in gaseous media, particularly black holes embedded in the gas discs around supermassive black holes, and their potential as sources of gravitational waves. I take a computational approach to these problems, simulating the interactions between black holes and gas through high resolution hydrodynamical simulations.
Personal: I am a Scottish metalhead with a love for motorbikes, rock climbing and hill walking.
