This Privacy Policy explains what information the Conkers Duel mobile game (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and how it is handled. The App is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13.
The App does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. To provide online features (leaderboards, friends, matchmaking and tournaments) the App works with a game server and processes a small amount of data:
Display name (“handle”) — a nickname you choose. Please do not enter your real name.
Player ID and friend code — random identifiers generated on your device to distinguish players and let friends connect.
Game progress — your rank/CLOUT, tournament wins (“golden conkers”) and similar in‑game stats.
IP address — used transiently by the server and by the peer‑to‑peer connection service to route online matches. It is not used to identify you personally and is not sold.
Optional feedback — if you use the in‑app “Report a bug / request a feature” form, the text you submit and your Player ID are sent to us so we can respond and improve the game.
Two‑player and tournament matches connect devices directly to each other (peer‑to‑peer) using a connection service. During a match, gameplay data (such as moves and scores) is exchanged between the connected devices. Nearby (same‑room) play uses your device’s local networking and does not require the internet.
The App may display advertising in future updates. If and when third‑party advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the ad provider and the data it processes, and any such advertising will be configured appropriately for a 13+ audience.
To run online features: leaderboards, friends, matchmaking and tournaments.
To match you with other players and route peer‑to‑peer connections.
To respond to feedback and fix problems.
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your information. Your chosen handle, friend code and rank are visible to other players as part of normal gameplay (for example on leaderboards or when you add a friend). Limited technical data (such as IP address) is handled by the hosting and peer‑connection services solely to deliver online play.
Online game data (handle, player ID, rank, tournament wins) is stored for as long as the account/profile is active on our server. You can request deletion of your server‑side data, or ask what we hold, by contacting us at the address below. Data stored only on your device is removed if you uninstall the App.
Conkers Duel is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
