(CONIAPS XXVII )
Functional and Numerical Analysis
(Online Conference)
October 26-28, 2021
October 26-28, 2021
This International Conference on Functional and Numerical Analysis (CONIAPS XXVII-FNA 2021) to be hosted by the School of Studies in Mathematics, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India & in collaboration with the International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) is intended to bring together mathematicians who work in the fields of Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis and to encourage collaboration and exchange of interdisciplinary ideas among the participants. The scientific program is structured in Special Sessions which consist of Plenary, Invited and Contributed talks.
CONIAPS XXVII-FNA 2021 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis.
CONIAPS XXVII-FNA 2021 welcomes contributions related to all traditional as well as modern areas of Functional Analysis, Numerical Analysis and their application in various fields. Authors are invited to submit their papers; if accepted, will be scheduled for oral presentation in virtual mode. Young researchers are encouraged to give oral presentations during the conference. Young Scientist awards will be given to the best oral presentations by researchers below the age of 35 years.
The conference topics include, but are not limited to:
Operator Theory
Nonlinear Analysis
Fixed Point Theory
Variational Inequalities
Approximation by linear or non linear operators
Methods of functional analysis in approximation problems, differential equations, and integral equations
Linear spaces and algebras of operators
Function spaces
Constructive approximation
Numerical integration
Numerical methods for integral and differential equations
Numerical linear algebra
Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University is Chhattisgarh's largest and oldest institution of higher education, founded in 1964, and named after the first chief minister of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh. The University has a sprawling campus in the western part of the capital of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. The campus of University is spread in 207 acres of land. There are Twenty-Nine teaching departments in the University. Out of which six departments buildings have been constructed recently. A variety of self-financed courses have been initiated in some departments. The total number of employees is 700, who provide the administrative support at different levels.
Attracted by the opportunity to study and conduct advanced research with renowned professors and fellow scholars in one of the Chhattisgarh's most dynamic cities, students also come from the neighboring States. There are 5000 students enrolled for variety of courses offered by the departments who are steered under the guidance of more than 100 faculty members. Jurisdiction of RSU covers entire central and southern part of Chhattisgarh. There are 180 educational institutions affiliated to the University. In the academic year 2005-06, about 1,25,000 students were enrolled, both for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The University plays a major role in the educational, cultural and economic life of the region.
The School of Studies in Mathematics was established in 1991. Since then, the School has been growing continuously in terms of educational programmes and infrastructure. From the very inception this school is one of the most active research center of mathematical sciences in Chhattisgarh. The school has its own building with adequate facilities for teaching and research. From 1994 the school is supported by NBHM Library Grant. In 2010-11, the school came under the umbrella of DST-FIST programme. The department’s research interests span across the broad areas of Nonlinear Analysis, Fixed Point Theory, Cryptography and Mathematical Modelling.
International Academy of Physical Sciences was founded with its headquarters at Allahabad on December 4, 1994, to meet the above goals and objectives. This culminated into a foundation conference in which several scientists from different streams deliberated on interdisciplinary approaches towards conflict resolution for world problems. The Academy is conceived as a scientific body incorporating various branches of Physical, Mathematical, and Earth Sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Geophysics and Geography, Computer Science, Informatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, etc. The IAPS is a scientific organization of recent origin but it has already made its mark by involving in it through membership, fellowship, and activities, a large number of scientists of India and abroad, and its publications are helping in the expansion of scientific knowledge.
