the conference is on-site or online?
The conference is a hybrid event.
When and where will the on-site activities be?
In two institutions simultaneously: UNIACC University (Santiago de Chile) UC Riverside (California, USA). The conference will take place on January 9 - 11 025.
Who can present their work?
Anyone with an accepted proposal (presentation, discussion panel or workshop). For that, you must apply and be accepted. Having an academic degree is not a requirement. People from any country can participate, as long as the presented proposal is in one of the conference's language (english or spanish).
Who can attend the conference?
Any interested person that completes the inscription form (coming soon).
Who organizes the conference?
The conference is organized by the Ludo-critical game studies network (@ludocritica in social media), a network formed by game scholars from Chile organizing activities to contribute to the development of critical thinking in the game studies field.
Presentations and program.
Proposals can be about all kinds of games or just videogames?
Proposals on all kinds of games are welcomed, wheter videogame, analog, tabletop, RPG, historical, educational, etc.
How can I present at the conference?
You must send your 250 word proposal to ludocritica@gmail.com.
What kind of proposals will be accepted?
Any proposal in the available formats, whether to pe presented online or on-site.
What are the available proposal formats?
1)15 minutes presentations, 2) 45 minutes discussion panels and 3) 60 minutes workshop.
In what languages can I present?
You can do your presentation in english, spanish or portuguese.
Can I attend to the conference online?
As the conferece is a hybrid event, you can attend to all presentations and panels online. Other activities, like workshops, will be done online if possible.

How can I be an atendee to the conferece?
You must write an email to ludocritica@gmail.com when the atendee inscription begins.
What are the participation fees?
Inscription and participation is 100% free.
Will I receive a certificate for presenting in the conference?
Yes, you will receive it by email after the conference.
