Assistant professor
Department of Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics
University of Michigan
Before joining the University of Michigan, I was a post-doctoral research fellow in Dr. Ben Raphael's group at Princeton University. Damon Runyon Quantitative Biology Fellowship supported my post-doc for studying the spatial evolution of tumors in collaboration with the Human Tumor Atlas Network (HTAN) project. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University under the supervision of Dr. Carl Kingsford. During my Ph.D., I focused on gene transcription and developed multiple mathematical models and computational tools for identifying and quantifying the transcriptomic sequence variation.
