I help people who carry responsibility find the right words when the stakes are high.
If you are running for office for the first time, refining your message as a veteran elected official, stepping onto a stage as a business leader, or leading a nonprofit without a full-time communications team, you already know this truth. The wrong words can sink momentum. The right ones can move people to act.
That is where I come in.
I work as a behind-the-scenes partner to shape clear, disciplined, persuasive language that sounds like you on your best day. Calm. Credible. In control. Whether you are speaking to voters, employees, donors, or the public, the goal is the same. Say less. Mean more. Land the message.
Political Candidates and Elected Officials
First-time candidates building a campaign voice from scratch and experienced politicians looking to sharpen, simplify, or modernize their messaging. Speeches, announcements, debate prep, and written statements that hold up under scrutiny.
Business Executives and Senior Leaders
Flagship speeches, keynote remarks, and high-visibility communications where clarity and confidence matter as much as substance. The kind of language that earns trust in the room.
Nonprofit Organizations and Advocacy Groups
Organizations doing meaningful work without a full-time communications staff. I provide speechwriting, op-eds, donor messaging, and strategic written support that sounds professional, focused, and mission-driven.
• Speeches and Remarks (Campaign, Legislative, Keynote, Executive)
• Op-Eds and Thought Leadership
• Personal Statements and Cover Letters
• Messaging Strategy and Talking Points
• Partnerships and Retainer Support

Sample 1 – Statements and remarks (Political Client)
"Through that research, I’ve become concerned about the level of information available. I have questions about the lack of detail in several line items. I’ve also noticed inaccuracies in the data, which prevent us from making fully informed decisions. With that, I am uncomfortable voting in favor of a budget that puts a tax burden on the backs of the citizens of my district and my city, without adequate information that allows me to be certain that the burden would be justified. I am not satisfied that the information presented to this council is sufficient to vote in favor of the mayor’s tax plan. The effort of transparency requires us to find out more. Public trust requires us to do more. This city is full of people who work hard for their money every day. We owe it to them to do our due diligence when we spend their money- ensuring it is spent in a way that benefits everyone, equally."
Sample 2 – Guest Editorial/Thought Leadership: (CEO Client)
“We have to recognize that our presence alone is not enough. Being viewed as a role model is no longer enough. To cultivate, encourage, recruit, and retain top female talent, we need to extend ourselves as mentors. We can’t just let them see us from a distance; we need to invite them into our experiences and be honest with them about not just our successes, but our struggles and frustrations. That way, when they experience tough times, they don’t feel as though they’re weak or incapable. We have to build the brain power that will ultimately build the infrastructure of the future. "
Sample 3 – Speech Writing: CEO Client
Topic: Minority Inclusion/Equity
"I married into a very large family. My wife has six brothers and sisters, and now we all have kids. That means that at crowded family get-togethers, like during the recent holiday season, we’re often scrambling to find enough space to put everyone – we pop up card tables and set out TV trays to make sure we can all eat at the same time. The mismatched results may not always be picture-perfect, but we are together. It’s important that every family member, no matter how old or young, has a place at our table. That sense of inclusion is important in our community, too. For far too long, businesses led by women and minorities have been systemically left out of opportunities for engagement and growth."
Sample 4 – Cover Letter (C-Suite Applicant)
"Throughout my career, I have led high-impact projects, developed strategic messaging, and navigated the evolving media landscape to connect audiences with meaningful stories. Whether guiding in-depth investigative pieces, producing content that resonates across digital and traditional platforms, or shaping communications strategies that elevate an organization’s mission, I thrive at the intersection of creativity and strategy."
