Policies & Procedures

SCHEDULE

Monthly tuition reserves a weekly time slot in the studio. Lessons are 60 minutes (unless otherwise noted). Students may be dropped off up to 5 minutes before class starts and must be picked up promptly at class end. Please note that supervision is not provided before or after class time, and for your child's safety, younger students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in and out of the studio. We do encourage parents to drop off their children, as students often focus better and engage more freely when working independently with their peers. That said, parents are always welcome to stay—especially if it helps your child feel more comfortable as they get to know us.

We follow the Coweta County public school calendar for scheduled breaks and holidays. In the event of inclement weather, we will also follow Coweta County Schools for closures or delays unless otherwise notified via email or social media.

The commitment for each student is for a full semester:
FALL SEMESTER: August – December
SPRING SEMESTER: January – May

We also offer camps and special events throughout the year, each with individual registration.

Please Note: Repeated late pickups may result in a Late Pick-Up Fee of $10/day.

TUITION

Semesters can be paid in full or via monthly flat-rate tuition. Tuition is due by automatic payment on the 1st of each month. Payments not received by the 10th will incur a $20 late fee. If an account is not paid by the 15th, lessons will be paused until payment is made. Missed lessons during that time are forfeited. Please reach out if you need assistance with your account!  We are happy to help with making arrangements! We understand that things do come up and do not want your child to miss out!

MISSED LESSONS

Students are allowed one make-up per month, to be scheduled within the same month. If you need to cancel a lesson due to sickness or vacation, please notify us as early as possible. If anyone in your household has experienced a fever or vomiting within 24 hours of class, please stay home and reschedule. No-shows are not eligible for make-up. If the instructor must cancel due to emergency, illness, or weather, a make-up class will be offered.

MATERIALS

There is a $20 non-refundable Registration/Supply Fee per student, per semester, due at the time of registration. This helps cover the cost of high-quality art supplies, tools, and surfaces used in class. All materials are provided—students do not need to bring anything unless specifically requested for a project (e.g. donated items like grocery bags). Students are responsible for replacing any studio supplies or equipment damaged due to negligence or inappropriate behavior.

DISCONTINUATION OF LESSONS

Enrollment is a semester-long commitment.
Fall Registration opens in July.
Spring Registration opens in December.

Written cancellation must be sent via email to lynn@confetticanvases.com.

No refunds for missed or unattended classes.
No refunds after the first day of the semester begins.
Cancellations within 7 days of the semester start will receive a refund minus a $10 administrative & prep fee.

STUDIO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO:

~Cancel lessons at any time for students who do not adhere to this policy.

~Take photographs, videos, and/or recordings of me or my child during lessons, camps, or events for archival and promotional use.  These may appear on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed or videoed, please submit this request in writing to lynn@confetticanvases.com.

~Cancel lessons for any student who is disruptive or exhibits inappropriate behavior. Respectful behavior is expected at all times. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior toward staff or participants may result in removal from current and future classes/events without refund.

LIABILITY WAIVER & AGREEMENT

I understand and agree that by participating in any class, workshop, event, lesson, camp, etc., there is a risk of injury. I voluntarily assume all risks and responsibilities for any such injury, accident, or illness that might occur to me or my family members during Confetti & Canvases Art Studio classes or events. I also voluntarily agree to waive the rights of myself and my heirs to hold Confetti & Canvases Art Studio, its owners, teachers, assistants, employees, or volunteers liable for damage, loss, injury, or death due to ordinary negligence that may arise out of participation in any activity hosted by the studio.

Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs at the time of registration so we can provide a safe and supportive environment for your child.
