Researching the social determinants of student sporting habits in Hungarian-Romanian-Ukrainian cross-border area
Klára Kovács PhD. habil. is an associate professor at the University of Debrecen and a senior researcher at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development Hungary (CHERD-H). She received her PhD in sociology from the University of Debrecen in 2010. In 2014 she received her PhD in Educational Sciences in the Educational and Cultural Doctoral Programme of the University of Debrecen. Her research focuses on the social, institutional and individual determinants of students' and teachers' sporting habits in the Carpathian Basin and the effects of sport on well-being, health behaviour and academic performance.
