Converting PDF Files

Converting PDF files to Google Docs using Google Drive.

From a PDF file you already have in your Google Drive:

• 1. Locate the file in your Drive

  2. Right click on the title

  3. Choose, "Open With" > Google Docs

  4. The file is converted to a Google Doc

  5. You have the editing tools and can type on it

  6. Note: change the suffix from "pdf" to "docx"

If you do not already have a PDF file in your Google Drive, use the one below.

1. Left click on the link in this sentence the attached pdf file

2. A PDF File opens with a large black border around it

3. At the top, click, "Open with Google Docs"

4. The PDF is converted to a Google editable doc, and the editing tools are there for you to use

5. You will see the converted PDF in your Google Drive
