Converting PDF files to Google Docs using Google Drive.
From a PDF file you already have in your Google Drive:
Locate the file in your Drive
Right click on the title
Choose, "Open With" > Google Docs
The file is converted to a Google Doc
You have the editing tools and can type on it
Note: change the suffix from "pdf" to "docx"
If you do not already have a PDF file in your Google Drive, use the one below.

Left click on the link in this sentence the attached pdf file
A PDF File opens with a large black border around it
At the top, click, "Open with Google Docs"
The PDF is converted to a Google editable doc, and the editing tools are there for you to use
You will see the converted PDF in your Google Drive
Note: You can use this procedure for PDF's you download from webpages.
