The Department of Physics, established in 1971, has a long-standing tradition of excellence in postgraduate education and research, supported by active collaborations with leading research institutions across India. The Conference on Advances in Physics is an annual conference that brings together researchers and academicians to discuss recent developments across diverse areas of physics, including Nuclear Physics, Radiation Physics, Solid-State Physics, Plasma Physics, and Astrophysics.
Nuclear Physics continues to play a vital role in advancing science and technology, with reliable nuclear data serving as a foundation for applications in energy, medicine, radiation protection, and nuclear technology. The Department has made significant contributions to both experimental and theoretical research in Nuclear Physics. In honour of Prof. A. M. Vinodkumar and Prof. M. M. Musthafa on the occasion of their retirement, and in recognition of their distinguished contributions to the field of Nuclear Physics, we are pleased to host this three-day International Conference on Recent Developments in Nuclear Data, Theory and Applications.
