Traveling to Grenoble

1. By air: there are two airports close to Grenoble:
- Lyon, Saint-Exupéry (1h by car, bus or train) and
- Geneva (2h by car, bus or train);
Both airports have regular bus connections to the Grenoble bus station (Grenoble - Gare Routière)
and train station:

- The direct TGV from Paris, Gare de Lyon, runs almost every hour and takes about 3h.
In Paris, you can take RER A from Gare de Lyon to Châtelet and change to RER B to get to Gare du Nord (e.g., to connect to Eurostar), or to the Charles de Gaulle airport: https://www.ratp.fr/en
- If you are flying to or out of Paris, check the train connections from Grenoble to Charles de Gaulle airport (with a change in Lyon).
- Coming from Italy (Torino, 4-5h or Milano 5-6h), you will have to connect through either Chambéry or Geneva.

A48 – Lyon (105 km), Paris (566 km)
A49 – Valence (99 km)
