Logging in
MS Teams causes issues when you click the invitation link while you are logged in to another account. The symptoms include that you can view everything, but that you cannot unmute your microphone, cannot type in the chat, etc.
The solution is to switch to the Universiteit Utrecht account. In the Teams app, you can do by pressing the little arrow in the top right corner of the main window.
This will sign you out from your own account. After this, you can click the invitation link again and follow the steps to register as a guest to the UU Teams system.
After doing this once, you can easily switch from your own account to the UU guest account.
If you do not use the app, but rather use Teams through the browser, the same problem can occur. However, the browser interface does not allow you to easily switch accounts. In this case, the solution is to open the invitation link in an Incognito/Private browser window, such that the Teams website does not default to your own account.
Joining the meeting
If you want to join the plenary session of today, go to the plenary session channel and join the call that is active there. The correct call will be active at least 15 minutes before the session starts. Please do not start your own call in the plenary session channel.
