Concordia is a Unitary Constitutional Senatorial Rettorial Monarchy, meaning it is a Monarchy, with a Senate and a Constitution. The Head of State is His Majesty, Il Rettore.
The Power distribution is rather complex. Legislative Authority is shared between the Senate and Il Rettore, with the Senate holding PRIMARY Legislative Authority. Executive Authority is vested only in Il Rettore, and Judicial Authority is vested only in the Constitutional Court and Courts recognised by the Constitutional Court.
Concordia is divided into Provinces, which are further divided into Lands. Provinces are ruled by Dukes/Duchess' and Lands are ruled by Barons/Baroness'. All Provinicial and Land Rulers convene at the High Assembly of the Lands, an Assembly in which they go to meet and discuss Provincial and Land Affairs. In the High Assembly of the Lands, Barons and Baroness' each get one vote, and Dukes/Duchess' get votes equal to the Amount of Barons/Baroness' in their Province. The High Assembly of the Lands is mainly advisory, they may not pass Legislative Acts, but they may Draft Acts, on which they vote to be proposed to the Senate, where the Senate will guarantee a Debate for Acts drafted and approved by the Majority of the Assembly.
His Majesty may also propose Acts to the Senate. And His Majesty is also advised by the Rettorial Council.
His Majesty is the ONLY Royal with Authority. All other Royals possess no form of Authority, their titles are merely Ceremonial and distinguish the order of Inheritance for the Throne.
