I left my hometown of Catskill NY by myself December 31, 2014 . With $900 in my pocket and a desire for a better life, I drove through snow storms to be with my daughter and grandson living in Temecula California. With my "Can Do" attitude I arrived to hug my grandson after a long 7-Day drive.
My story dates back to my grandparents, who settled in NYC from Tuscany, Italy in the early 1900's! They opened up several successful candy shops in the Catskills. I credit them with the same loving and caring kindness that I hold on to today. They were a huge part of my life, growing up. My mother and Father were both born in NYC, and raised 5 children in the Catskills, my parents, dad a Butcher by trade, and owned his own wallpaper and paint business for 35 years and were both hard working, owned a delicatessen, and did Real Estate for a few years. My loving parents who gave us the best they could offer. I have many fond memories of growing up on the Hudson River, from apple picking to playing ball the street!
My ex-husband and I divorced in 2010, after being together since the 7th grade. We were young parents and had three amazing children, who were all active military. My oldest Son, Army. my middle Daughter, Navy and my youngest son, Air Force. I am so proud of their service to our country and their continued success. They have also blessed me with 6 grandchildren., and one more on the way!
Being a young stay at home mom, while still in HS, having my eldest son at 18 years old, this was very rewarding but I always striven to better myself. I continued to educate my self at at local colleges like Columbia Greene, which gave me a sense of fulfillment, and a couple of degrees. I worked for Albany Medical Center, and finished a Pre-Nursing Degree with Albany Medical College. I never in my life thought that I would end up in California, but life takes us on un-planned journeys!
After passing the Cal State Test, I journeyed into Real Estate now with Corcoran Global Living in Temecula CA, and have never looked back, I am on an AMAZING supportive team, and I absolutely love my new career, I feel there is nothing that can stop me now.
I also continued to educate myself with my passion for photography, turning that into a side job/hobby. In fact photography and real estate have a lot in common and seem to go hand in hand. Also worked at some of Temecula Valleys finest wineries, to keep up with life!
The night before I left NY, I found a fortune cookie fortune on the ground, That read, "You are about to embark on a most delightful journey!" What we dream about , we bring about. Believe in yourself and you can do anything you set your mind to. My journey has a long way to go and Real Estate is now a big part of that journey. I now have a sense of connection with others, accomplishment, and most of all freedom! Let me help you fulfill your journey.
My favorite read, is "Think and Grow Rich", by Napoleon Hill, I found this book after listening to Bob Proctor on you-tube! My favorite saying of his, "you do not need the money to have an idea" or in my case a dream!
Pictured above are my 3 beautiful kids, From left to right, Eldest son Andrew, 34(Army, 12 years), now a Loan Officer in Colorado for Northpointe Bank, daughter Laura, 32(Navy Vet, 4 years), graduating Nursing school this June 2022, and my youngest son Joshua, 31( Air Force, 6 years), Moving to Colorado and working for Northpoint Bank as a Loan Officer as well. Helping VA get the loans they need!
Thank you for taking the time to read my Story,........We all have a story, its up to you to write it!
