Gael Hernandez Palmer   (Violin)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee—famously known as Music City—Gael has been playing violin for over a decade, exploring everything from classical to fiddle and blues. Over the years, she’s had the chance to perform alongside artists such as Amy Grant, Vince Gill, and Black Violin. After moving to Vancouver to study at UBC, Gael joined the Vancouver Pops Orchestra, where she found a vibrant musical community and a new place to grow. She recently had the opportunity to tour with the orchestra and choir in London and is thrilled to be serving as concertmaster for this performance at the Chan Centre.
