This massive open online course (MOOC) website has a great training and tutorial section for photography. Although the information is not specifically listed as concert photography, a lot of the information is transferable, such as information on low-light settings, action scenes, Photoshop and Lightroom editing, and more. Lynda.com is a great library resource and is available via UNC Libraries and Durham Public Libraries.

Facebook is a great resource not only for social networking, but for finding music events in the area. Using the “Events” page a user may search through the “Music” category and see all music events in their direct area. By following a band or venue, Facebook sends notifications of events in which the band or venue are included. This is a free website to use and has been quite convenient for my own use.
