Jesus Is Adonai: True Lord, True Servant

In the image above, someone is washing another person’s feet—a job usually done by the lowest servant in ancient times. But Jesus, the Lord of all, humbled Himself to serve others in this way. Why? Because this is the heart of the Christian life: to serve others as a slave to grace, under the loving rule of Jesus, who is Adonai—Lord and God.

This website is here to remind us that following Jesus is not about easy-believism—just saying we believe without real change. True faith means knowing Jesus as Lord, trusting Him, and living a life that reflects His love and truth. He is not just a name we say; He is the living God who calls us to follow, obey, and serve in humility.

Declining Church Attendance:

A Deeper Issue Than Marketing Can Fix

Over the past 50 to 60 years, many churches have seen a steady decline in attendance. Some believe the answer lies in better marketing, more modern music, or programs designed to appeal to the culture. But declining numbers are not necessarily a sign that God has failed — far from it. Scripture reminds us that salvation is God’s initiative, not man’s strategy (John 6:44; Romans 9:16).

Perhaps the emptier pews are a sign that many are no longer content with man-centered sermons and shallow, socially-driven messages. People long for something more — a return to the truth of God’s Word, the preaching of Christ crucified, and the reality of God’s sovereign grace. In many cases, those leaving may have never truly followed Christ to begin with (1 John 2:19), or they grew weary of a gospel that seemed more focused on self than on God.

If the church is to be renewed, it won’t come through clever branding or cultural relevance. It will come through a return to faithful, biblical preaching that exalts God, confronts sin, and points us to the only Savior — Jesus Christ.
